Neurotoxins

Cosmetic neurotoxins, such as Botox®, Dysport®, and Jeuveau®, are FDA-approved injectable treatments used to temporarily relax targeted facial muscles. By reducing muscle activity, these treatments help soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, particularly in areas like the forehead, between the eyebrows (glabellar lines), and around the eyes (crow’s feet). 

 These neurotoxins block nerve signals to specific muscles, preventing them from contracting. As a result, the overlying skin appears smoother and more refreshed. The effects typically become noticeable within 3 to 7 days after treatment and last about 3 to 4 months, depending on the product and individual response.
